The UK Orgalime members have formed a group of associations named EURIS to represent the UK industries to Government on the Brexit process, the consequences and the future UK-EU trading relationship. The first EURIS European Network meeting on 11 July 2018 in London will be an opportunity to begin and develop real solutions to the challenges presented by Brexit for the industrial product supply sector. The British Fluid Power Association BFPA is directly involved in EURIS.
EURIS is delighted to announce the first meeting of the EURIS European Network to be held in London on 11th July 11am - 4pm. (www.euristaskforce.org) This meeting is a follow up of the EURIS BREXIT Summit which saw industry associations from across Europe come together to discuss and agree a joint UK-EU industry working plan to ensure a successful Brexit for product manufacturers.
The EURIS Taskforce is an advisory body for the potential impacts of the changing relationship between the UK and EU for the UK Government, manufacturers and the media. EURIS represents industrial product suppliers covered by the Single Market representing sectors with a turnover of over £110 billion and covers sectors responsible for over 25% of total UK goods imports and exports.
This first EURIS European Network meeting will be an opportunity to build on the discussions at the EURIS Summit in May and begin to develop real solutions to the challenges presented by Brexit for the industrial product supply sector - as well as ideas on how to maximise the opportunities Brexit presents.
