The 12th International Fluid Technology Colloquium (12th IFK) will take place from 9 to 11 March 2020 in the International Congress Center in Dresden. Trendsetting trends and developments in the field of fluid mechatronic systems will be presented and intensively discussed at one of the most important industry meetings for fluid technology.
The conference is accompanied by a trade exhibition and lectures, which provide an exciting platform for scientists, users and manufacturers from all over the world to exchange ideas.
True to the conference motto "Fluid Power - Future Technology", the 12th IFK shows that fluid technology is in a constant state of change and has its finger on the pulse of the times. Thanks to a wide range of control options and easy-to-implement interfaces for control and status monitoring, fluid drives will become enablers for the production, transport and processing systems of the future. Seamless integration is the cornerstone of the industry's ongoing digitalization and automation, and thus of technological progress.
In more than 100 international technical papers on three days, the participants are offered an overview of current developments, novel applications and research work in the field of fluid technology. The focus of the sessions ranges from classical topics such as fluid properties to issues relating to digitisation and automation, such as predictive maintenance or digital systems. The diversity of fluid technology is reflected in the range.
The IFK team around Prof. Jürgen Weber (Professorship for Fluid-Mechatronic Systems Engineering, TU Dresden) is looking forward to interested participants from all areas of mechanical engineering, mechatronics and drive technology!
